Dear Hiring Manager,

Please accept my enclosed resume for your open position.

It’s been my experience that most business owners are looking for someone with a positive outlook, a can-do attitude, great at problem-solving, intelligent, someone who has a vast skill set, can get along with anyone, and motivates themselves so you don’t have to micromanage. Is that close? If so, then I’m that person!

I work alone in a home office that is separate from my home. This provides a zero distraction environment meant to dedicate full focus on my clients and their goals.

Why am I unique? I am very techy. I can build websites, shopping carts, newletters, video/audio editing and a ton more. I have great attention to detail as I also love bookkeeping! I’m funny, well spoken, very intelligent about business and people, and I’m moldable. I’m not stuck in my ways, I’m ready to do things the way YOU want them done. I’m mature, responsible for my own mistakes, and I try to communicate clearly.

If you’d like to “see” me I have my full resume and an introduction video posted on my personal website at www.OnlineOfficeHelp.com

I look forward to hearing from you,

Diane Wood

In response to your advertisement on HireMyMom.com, I believe I am the “Personal Assistant” in which you are seeking! I am a well organized person who prides herself on managing my three kid’s packed after school schedules, all household finances and needs, as well as creating and managing my own photography company on the weekends. Since graduating college in 2002, I have always moved at a fast pace. Whether it is during the work week or on the weekends, I have always found myself in the leadership position, organizing and pushing everyone to catch up to where I am in the process. For these reasons, I believe that I am exactly what you are looking for.

I entered the workforce as a teacher and quickly found myself climbing the internal corporate ladder to hold positions as a front desk manager, curriculum director, summer camp coordinator, and even assistant director. After leaving the world of teaching in 2012, I built my own photography business from the ground up through word of mouth and social media- both Facebook as well as building and maintaining a company website. From planning and managing an entire summer calendar for a school (including corresponding with and scheduling various vendors via email and phone) to managing my company’s calendar of appointments, updating my website, and constantly researching information that will bring me to the next level, all of my work experiences has allowed me to learn and eventually master many skills that are key to me helping you stay focused on your own tasks.

I am a self-motivated, energetic person. I learn quickly and I have a strong ability to problem solve on my own. I am constantly told that I am a pleasure to be with, always smiling and offering a helping hand. I am not a person that needs to be asked more than once, taking pride in getting the job done correctly that first time in a timely manner, and then finding what else needs to be done to continue to move forward. Even while in school, I lived by the mantra “why put off tomorrow what can be done today.” Once I became a mom, I have since begun instilling that in my children, as well as “if you rush and do it wrong, it will only take even longer to do it than if you slowed down a little and did it right the first time!”

I hope that this letter has allowed a glimpse into my life and personality. I would love to talk to you further about your needs and wants in an assistant and hopefully be given a chance to prove myself worthy of “Superstar Executive Assistant” status!

Sincerely,

Jessica Singler
