Hello! I am interested in the job you posted for a virutal assistant. I have 15 years of professional experience. I am an English teacher by day and have much experience writing articles for colleagues and newsletters, as well as copy editing and proofreading in my profession. I also have experience working in the marketing department of an international law firm right out of college. In this role, I was responsible for press releases announcing newly-hired attorneys for the firm, as well as charitable events and sponsorships. More recently, I was a contributor to a well-known blog in my city, where I authored articles/posts on various topics, some of which were viewed and shared thousands of times. Lastly, I have experience writing articles/blog posts for a national chain of grocery stores.

In response to your advertisement on HireMyMom.com, I believe I am the “Personal Assistant” in which you are seeking! I am a well organized person who prides herself on managing my three kid’s packed after school schedules, all household finances and needs, as well as creating and managing my own photography company on the weekends. Since graduating college in 2002, I have always moved at a fast pace. Whether it is during the work week or on the weekends, I have always found myself in the leadership position, organizing and pushing everyone to catch up to where I am in the process. After leaving the world of teaching in 2012, I built my own photography business from the ground up through word of mouth and social media- both Facebook as well as building and maintaining a company website. From planning and managing an entire summer calendar for a school (including corresponding with and scheduling various vendors via email and phone) to managing my company’s calendar of appointments, updating my website, and constantly researching information that will bring me to the next level, all of my work experiences has allowed me to learn and eventually master many skills that are key to me helping you stay focused on your own tasks.

I am a self-motivated, energetic person. I learn quickly and I have a strong ability to problem solve on my own. I am constantly told that I am a pleasure to be with, always smiling and offering a helping hand. I am not a person that needs to be asked more than once, taking pride in getting the job done correctly that first time in a timely manner, and then finding what else needs to be done to continue to move forward.
