I began my career in the corporate world working in the buying offices of Columbia Sportswear and JCPenney. I worked in many capacities for these companies including inventory management, customer service, sales, and merchandising.
In 2012, my husband was offered an amazing career opportunity that took us to Shanghai, China. While in Shanghai, I decided to reevaluate my career and began work as a virtual assistant.
My first goal was to familiarize myself more with Web Design and WordPress so I spent 1 year studying advanced web design with Sessions University online. During this program, I became fluent in HTML and CSS. I also became proficient in the Adobe Software Suite and WordPress.
Currently, I work as a virtual assistant for a limited number of small businesses. Some of my responsibilities and tasks include (but are not limited to): Social Media Posting, Blogging, WordPress website design and updates, mailings and personalized notes, data-entry, customer invoicing, order management/customer service, email newsletters and much more.
My business is located in Portland, OR. I have worked with clients all over the US and have a dedicated home office space.
I believe that my technical background and experience as a virtual assistant would make me a strong candidate for your position.
