Administrative Virtual Asst

April 17, 2017

Mr. Deddens:

I am most interested in applying for your Executive Virtual Assistant position. Look no further if you want a responsible and courteous professional with attention to detail. I am a former military officer and a Catholic school administrator who is looking for a complete career change that will afford me flexibility, creativity, and opportunities to work out of the box. Both career opportunities have afforded me the ability to hone in on my management, technology, and virtual communications skills. Although I have never been a VA, I can assure you that I am more that qualified to serve your needs.

As a military officer in the U.S. Army, I served as a communication officer in a forward deployed combat support mission and was responsible for the morale, welfare, and safety of over thirty soldiers and multi-million dollar communications equipment. As a special needs director, I have scheduled and facilitated hundreds of face to face confidential and difficult meetings with professionalism and precision. As an instructional coordinator, I have mastered Google Docs and can streamline digital files with ease. I embrace change and look for ways to enhance operations for the better. Within my director and administrative roles, I have enhanced my social media capabilities and fundraising projects. I have an extensive resume of professional speaking events at the national, state, and local levels with the capability to streamline training to an online format. As a volunteer, I have published approximately twenty newsletters (see this example) http://tinyurl.com/k2h88uq. You can see samples of my own personal https://cre8ivecharly.wordpress.com/ and professional https://differentways2teach.wordpress.com/ Word Press blogs here.

My additional education roles have been assistant principal, instruction support leader, curriculum specialist, special education department chair, mathematics specialist, teacher and staff development facilitator, and more. I hold a Masters of Education in Special Education earned through the University of Saint Thomas and a Bachelors of Art degree in Communications from Louisiana State University. I am currently serving as a successful Assistant Principal; however, our campus will experience a budget shortfall next school year. My position is fairly new and will be eliminated for the next school year. I am available for part time evening employment now until the end of May when I will be available at any time after that. My work schedule will be very flexible in the next six weeks. I look forward to speaking with you soon about this excellent opportunity.

In His Trust,
Charlotte Conner
