Adaptable and Versitile Writer
Dear Ms. Borup,
When it comes to writing, versatility is my specialty. I’ve chatted with presidents, stumped celebrities, stood in ice lines after hurricanes, and traipsed through the dark on a ghost hunt. One time, I even broke the news of an upcoming Duggar pregnancy—pre-scandal, of course.
My name is Rachel Mosteller, and I am flexible in life and adaptable at work. While the work-side of my life is versatile, the personal is just as varied. A good writer, after all, needs a unique personal narrative to find an interesting story in the mundane. I’m the woman who will search out an English theater in Slovenia to see Pitch Perfect 2, while still staying the person that flips on NPR for up-to-date news. I’m the type of parent will venture alone through Paris with two kids, armed only with a bus map (and no phone), but will step up to coach a school volleyball game when the coach is MIA with a flat tire (we lost).
As a writer, I pay attention to detail and respect deadlines. I work hard and fast while remaining affable to those around me. I worked as a journalist, blogger and freelance writer from 1999-2010. From 2011 to 2016, I owned an online party supply business, with over six figures in sales, while dealing with all aspects of the business. I am now moving back into freelance writing, and would love consideration for the copywriting position for My Clone Solution.
I have experience writing for both print and the web, and have worked as a professional blogger for the AOL/Weblogs Inc. site “Parent Dish.†My writing background includes a variety of lifestyle topics, as well as more serious pieces. Please feel free to view my website at www.rmosteller.com for more information.
I thank you in advance, and look forward to hearing from you soon.
