A Closer Look Inc.

Ms. Byers,

I would like to express my interest in applying for the part-time Scheduler position at A Closer Look Inc. With almost eight years of professional experience contributing to the success of organizations across different sectors, I would bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this position.

In my current role as a HR Manager (part-time) at First Choice Beverage Inc. and in my previous HR roles at Kinross Gold Corporation, I work closely with employees on a daily basis answering their questions and concerns regarding company programs and policies. The majority of my day is spent interacting with employees, candidates, and third party vendors in person and over the phone. I thrive in an environment where I can interact and help others.

I also have advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office and various HR systems including HRIS (JD Edwards), Applicant Tracking Systems (Kenexa BrassRing), and the SuccessFactor suite of HR systems. I was the “Super User” for the implementation of SuccessFactors which involved designing and testing the system, contributing to future state requirements of the system, and developing and delivering system training.

I am an effective communicator with a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and am able to work collaboratively with all levels of an organization. In addition, I am client-focused and have great time management skills which allows me to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. The skills I have gained through my experience working with people and HR systems would be a great match for this position.

I am interested in this role as I am looking for an exciting and meaningful opportunity that would allow me to work part-time from home. I have 7 day per week availability. My enclosed resume provides additional information about my experience and education. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to having the opportunity to speak with you regarding this position.
